 TRF's 45th Annual Forum held March 21-23, 2004 was a great success. Held on the Northwestern University campus in Evanston, Illinois, the conference was attended by transportation scholars and practitioners from around the country. The Northwestern University Transportation Center proved to be exceptional hosts and provided conference attendees with excellent facilities and genuine hospitality.
In addition to a variety of well-attended concurrent sessions, forum participants were treated to a plenary session on the Chicago Rail Project as well as a Keynote Address by Emil Frankel, Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy. Receptions sponsored by the University of Nebraska at Omaha's Aviation Institute and Northwestern University's Aaron Gellman provided participants with opportunities to meet old friends and make new ones.
